It has a tubular brass frame with neat brass rings and ‘cod-mouth’ detailing at the joints. Two pairs of naturalistic hands cast in solid brass hold the end rails, each finished with decorative brass finials. The hooded castors are in solid brass. Shelves are in 6mm clear tempered glass. This 1920's inspired Bullet Wall Light is made by hand in solid brass by engineers in our Dorset workshop. Our Sheffield craftsmen work with sheet brass to create the concave disc and ‘pocket’ for the concealed solid brass light fitting. The surface is skillfully hand beaten to create a beautiful reflecting surface. The distinctive Owl Lantern is made entirely by hand by skilled Sheffield silversmiths. Brass 'feathers' are hand cut to graduating sizes and welded in layers to the bodice-like frame. The open base creates a pool of light, while teardrop shaped openings cast a wonderful dappled light above. The pineapple is traditionally a symbol of welcome in America and Soane's Pineapple Table Lamp is inspired by an original Nineteenth Century oil lamp. The solid brass base is cast by hand in the Sheffield workshop to an exceptionally detailed naturalistic design. Part of Soane Britain’s family of reading lights, this flexible brass wall light swivels through 180 degrees on a height adjustable slider, has a jointed swing arm and an adjustable brass shade.
